About Dr. Alkawass

Anas Al kawass, M.D is board certified in pediatric medicine, and pediatric critical care medicine. He served his residency at JMH/University of Miami. Additionally, he completed a pediatric critical care fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University.

Dr.Al kawass served as an Assistant Professor at Albany College of Medicine AMC, and Florida Atlantic University FAU. Dr.Al kawass serves as the Director of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at  Fountain Valley Hospital. Dr.Al kawass has special interest in Traumatic Brain Injuries TBI, Cardiac Anomalies, and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome ARDS.

He has taught residents, and medical students for many years. Dr.Al kawass frequently participates in the Society of Critical Care Medicine meetings. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics FAAP.
